OLYMPIA COMFORT WP WORD PROCESSOR

This is the model in the Comfort range equipped with a memory and display: It sets new standards in terms of design and technology. The Comfort provides a whole range of typing advantages both in its overall appearance and in its regard to detail. Its timeless, modern style gives any office a pleasant, up-to-date look.

The curved lines of the Comfort's top cover and side panels and its smooth, sculptured keys attract use - facts which have resulted in an imaginative, ergonomic design.

The Comfort is extremely easy to use; a factor which is obvious by just glancing at the keyboard. All the key functions are clearly lablelled in plain text, so there are no puzzling symbols.

The ribbon capacity has been increased. The Long-Type cassette now has a capacity of 105,000 characters. A rechargeable Eco-cassette is also available

Thanks to the Comfort's unique 'glide open' top cover, changing the printwheel, correction tape or ribbon cassette is a quick, simple operation.

The keyboard height of 1.3in complies with industrial standard for typing comfort. This, together with the light touch of the keyboard, ensures you don;t get tired from typing.

The use of modern technology has also enabled the noise level to be reduced. At less than 60dBA, the Comfort MD sets new typewriter standards.

With the optional 3.5in disk drive, the Comfort MD can provide unlimited storage. The Comfort MD is compatible with PC's and you can transfer data between them via disk in ASCII or Olympia format. Your Comfort MD thus provides a link to the PC world.

The 'i' interface port, integrated in the Comfort, means that you can upgrade the typewriter by connecting various options; e.g. by connecting the Printer Box (Centronics), the Comfort can be used a s a letter quality printer for a PC.
